His sound is a sophisticated fusion of Bongo Flava, Afrobeats, and R&B, often incorporating Congolese Rumba and Bolero. This stylistic versatility led to his 2010 breakthrough hit, "Kamwambie," which won three Tanzania Music Awards. Diamond’s achievements are historic: he was the first Africa-based artist to surpass 900 million YouTube views and remains a three-time MTV EMA winner for Best African Act.
